Alternative Environmental Technologies Holdings Corp is very pleased to announce that it has signed another distribution agreement with OGE Drilling & Investment Ltd. and its subsidiary company ODIN Petroil S.A. The first distribution agreement was for AET\u2019s SULFEX\u2122 process. Like that prior agreement, this distribution agreement covers the sales territory of several South American, Central American, Caribbean and other countries including Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, South Africa and Singapore.<\/p>
In addition to being a distributor, Petroil will also utilize some of AET\u2019s products at its own location.<\/p>
The distribution agreement covers AET\u2019s unique, patented, cost-saving EcoMix\u2122 fuels emulsion process. EcoMix\u2122 is a means of blending water into fuels to reduce soot, nitrous oxides and carbon dioxide emissions while reducing the cost of fuel by improving combustion efficiency. EcoMix\u2122 can be used with #2 through #6 fuel oils (diesel through mazut and bunker fuels) and residual oil fuel. It can be used in open flame (boilers, furnaces) and internal combustion applications such as locomotive diesel engines, ship engines, electrical generation power plants, refinery, cement and other high temperature applications.<\/p>
AET’s EcoMix\u2122 product lines include Diesel Oil Emulsions (DOE), Fuel Oil Emulsions (FOE) and Residual Oil Emulsions (ROE) which have proven significant emission benefits over diesel and significant advantages over “alternative fuels” because its use requires no engine modifications, uses existing diesel fuel oil infrastructure, and requires virtually no re-training of personnel.<\/p>
Petroil has plans to use both EcoMixTM and SULFEX\u2122 in their own refinery and terminal. Process and plant design work is underway.<\/p>

Other additional AET proprietary technologies use liquids in a low pressure and low-temperature environment to achieve petroleum-based-fuel sulfur levels down to less than 10 ppm and produces a finished fuel ready for use. AET’s Sulfex\u2122 process is operationally much simpler than the HDS system currently used at refineries to desulfurize fuels, making it considerably less expensive and much safer to use. The process has been independently validated by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Labs (www.anl.gov), and the initial mass balance of the plant has also been reviewed and confirmed by a global engineering firm.
